The famous Mombasa tusks.

HELLO! A lot of us know about Tusks but might not know about the little history associated with them. I hope you get to gain some knowledge on the history of the same and that you will visit the place with a new sense of understanding. A few things to note about Tusks that I didn't mention: -The location of the tusks was meant to symbolize entry into Mombasa city when the princess came. -They were initially on one lane of the road and they became two pairs after the road was expanded. -They were last refurbished in 2017 by the county government in partnership with Mombasa cement. -They are now under the protection of National Museums of Kenya.
