Behind the Videos - Doofenshmirtz Ruler of Everything - Episode 1

Unfortunately, this channel was demonetized and as such, I feel the need to justify the transformative nature of some of my videos. I made these fan concept video for Dr. Doofenshmirtz in early 2021. These were the first videos I had ever worked on with the intention of creating a narrative storyline for viewers. The short version took about 6 hours whilst the long one took upwards of 20. Despite this, I finished in about three days. A lot of the narrative was my vision of portraying Dr. Doofenshmirtz as the "Ruler of Everything". As the song's message implies that time is the "ruler of everything" and Dr. Doofenshmirtz would later end up inventing time travel, I figured this only made it a natural fit for him to be the subject of this video. All the clips featured were from the show Phineas & Ferb. I spent many hours meticulously writing notes on where to place each clip in accordance to which lyric. Due to the limitations of the source material, this required a fair bit of color grading, speed correction, and spacing in order to enhance viewer immersion.
