VALENTINE'S GIFT TO NEVEL YASHGIXD

happy valentine's day to my wonderful boyfriend Nevel V Yashgi!!!!XD he has been so supportive of me and is one of the most pleasant and genuine sweethearts i have ever known:) how we met: i knew of Nevel before we met when i saw his entry in the Princess Trixie Sparkle contest and felt he was hilarious, but didn't think much of it at the time other than he makes funny content, since i didn't know him personally:) we knew each other casually as acquaintances/friends due to Daughter of Discord for 2 years:) we started talking more about projects and got to know each other on a personal level, and found it scarily crazy how similar we are in ways of thinking, interests, and hobbiesXD we have been going out for almost 8 months, starting july 28th and met in person for the first time at bronycon 2017(all but the last 2 non-art pictures)XD and he also visited my hometown for christmas for a week(last 2 non-art pictures), unfortunately i got really sick a couple days into the visit, but he was soooo supportive in helping me through the sickness, i didn't think i could be anymore in love with him, but here i was falling harderXD i feel so lucky to have met this man, and hope our goals for the future can be reachedXD a BIG thanks to DisneyFanatic2364 and MagpiePony for letting me know of him and meeting through projectsXD and a BIG thanks to SkyPaw122, who let a clever hint of my interest slip(something about mentioning "you two"), when we were talking to each other and feeling out the waters, and it gave him the courage to confess to me, and i confessed to him shortly afterXD the reasons i picked this song is because: 1. i sang him to sleep a few times with this song that we both love from "land before time" 2. i felt it was very fitting considering we are in a long distance relationship(him in northern england and me in midatlantic usa) 3.-he has been searching for a job, since he moved(CONGRATS ON LANDING THE JOB!!!!XD), and i could relate to the anxiety of the job search and scary doubts when i graduated and was stuck by the "2 years experience or more" clause 4. due to the above statement, i have been working low pay(not enough to get an apartment around here without living on ramen) non-career jobs, living at home, so i can save for future life and i am super grateful to my parents for their support, but i have been wanting to earn a survivable wage for a long time, and meeting nevel helped me to prioritize what sort of career i should go for, i settled on radiology technician(only 2 years of school, clinic hours count as experience(so i won't get stuck again), only $3000 for the 2 years, $20 an hour average starting out, and can make an average of $50,000 a year, more than half of what my highest paying(but unstable) job paid, benefits, ability to live where i want, not as much social interaction with patients/customers/clients required, and most important to the relationship, the fact that the job is on a list of desired careers for immigrants to have, which is going to be vital for when we eventually decide to live together after i graduate, especially with our countries having complicated immigration policies that change all the time) so in summary, chose this song to represent and support our goals to get to a better place in life, while supporting each other and because of the personal reminderXD song: "If We Hold On Together" by Diana Ross and is the ending credits song to the first "land before time" movie first art piece: Nevel V.
