Update : STB Emulator Version 2.10.4 released in July Mid 2023 has all the MAG remote control Keys built into the App - It works great and update your version and no need to any keys mapping or any other add-ons for Navigation/Search and other functions - Check my video on this new version here - /watch/wwzMuYQdVcLdM STB Emulator by Infomir is an Android App - Software version of Infomir's MAG series Linux boxes MAG boxes have the Remote Control Keys for Navigation - They are Function keys F1-F2-F3-F4 or RED-GRN-YEL-BLU - Functions assigned based on the mode of use like LiveTV or Video Club. With STB Emu App installed in Android devices may not have these keys and it becomes difficult to navigate through channels , setting up a favorite or search for a movie or TV Show in Video club. The good news is STB Emu App has built-in Key Mapping capability - We can "Assign" device Remote Keys to do the task of R-G-Y-B buttons ...In this video we are exploring the option of assigning FF-PLAY-REW remote keys in FireTV stick to do the task of GRN-YEL-BLU buttons. RED functions are limited and not really needed - and neither we have "keys" left in Firestick to assign. The same process can be applied to and Android device remote or just a smart TV remote as long as the device and Smart TVs are connected to the same network and also HDMI CEC controls are enabled. One thing you did not mention was, by using up the play/pause button (long press) for favorites you lose the ability what i do is, after selecting a few movies as favorites, i switch back the play/pause fromyellow to its original purpose. ...Expand

@thunderbolt559 months ago This action disables original button function. If you set fw/rw for color button then you will not be able to fw/rw video.
