Painting Contractor Longmont, CO https://www.aceofdiamondspainting.com Thank you for choosing Ace of Diamonds Painting to complete your painting project! Your project has been handed off to our Project Management team. Below is an overview of our processes and what to expect moving forward through completion of your project. Project Manager Introduction Your project has been handed off to the Project Management team. Expect a phone call within 1 week from our Project Manager. The Project Manager will discuss your project with you on the phone, answer questions and look at setting a tentative schedule. Final Schedule Lock The Project Manager will give you a followup call to confirm the schedule and any variables of the project. A window for a start date will also be discussed and finalized if possible. Depending upon project needs another followup call will be made. Owner Preparation Before we arrive at your site, you may be required to move items away or off of the property surfaces. Hanging lights, patio furniture, awnings, grills etc. will need to to be moved back so the crew has room to work. If there are items that are too large to move, our crew may be able to assist. If shrubs, trees, or other plants are obstructing the crews access to surfaces, we will also ask that those are trimmed back. Project Start - Power Washing A powerwash will happen a couple days before the project starts. In some cases, the powerwash may take place the day of starting. The powerwash is important to ensure that dirt and debris are removed from the surface of your property ensuring that the paint adheres properly. There is a dry time that will be needed. Sometimes the dry time is a couple hours. In most cases we like to let the house dry overnight. Surface Preparation Once the powerwash is complete, the paint crew will start prepping the surface of the property. They will caulk areas that need caulked, sand areas that need sanding, and paint primer on areas that need primer, specifically bare wood. Paint Application Our crews will use a variety of methods to paint the house including brushing, rolling and spraying. The majority of the body will be sprayed. This process is relatively fast. You will notice a significant amount of paint on your house once the crew gets into paint. Typically after the body is sprayed, any trim, facia, gutters, downspouts etc. will be hand painted by brushing and rolling. Exterior doors will need to be opened when we paint those. We like to open the doors so the outside edges are painted. If doors are not able to be opened, the outside edges will not be painted. You will notice touch ups and areas that might have been missed. Do not worry about these areas, our crew will fix as they move along. Change Orders Change orders may come up as the job progresses. A change order is anything additional that is not in the original scope of work. These may include wood replacements, changes in color scheme, additional paint colors etc. Project Team Final Walk Once the crew is nearing completion of the project, someone from our project management team will complete a walk of the property. Customer Final Walk When the paint job meets our company expectations and when we feel like we achieved completion of the scope of work, we will ask you to join us for a final walk. Final Completion Form We will review the completion form with you and have you sign. The form basically states that we completed the job to the scope of work. Final Payment A final invoice will be sent before the final walk. Change orders will be included in the final amount. For questions, give us a call!
