@ClaudeRosemondJeSca2 years agoHello my friend and yes Patience is one thing you need here. 13
@
@purpleandred72 years agoPatience is one of the most difficult things to master, Tom. As with every challenge, it is best to walk away and think about the situation rather than spout-off and regret our actions/reactions. It is something I try to do with every challenge I face. ...10

@kevinandgemma77402 years agoTom how right you are do not come to the Philippines with an attitude leave that at home it won't get you anywhere..You will experience a lot that will stress you out many times, just stay calm you are in the Philippines and it is much different from western countries. That's why Tom dyes his hair since being there has turned his hair grey .🤗👍👍 ...10

@johnandmariainmindanao2 years agoGood advice Tom. I try to bite my tongue until my frustration passes by and is learning not to roll my eyes lol. John is much better than I am😊😊. Great topic. If you do not have these two things, I do not think you can live here. The way they do things are very different from the west that it can drive anyone crazy without patience and understanding 👍👍 ...3

@
@Last_day_events2 years agoThis is a very frustrating country not only for foreigners but Filipino's. Many have told me how frustrated they are. This is one of the reasons Filipinos become OFW's for life. They don't want to come back and deal with the frustrations. It can also raise your stress levels. I suspect this was not the only frustration he experienced that day. But the longer you are here, the lower your expectations are. ...2

@
@gilbs722 years agoThanks for being fair about this. I'm Filipino, and this also happened to me. I waited several days to get my card back (then a couple more days since I was too busy myself). I think it's for security reasons. If everyone knows it's not easy for banks to open ATMs and vaults, it acts as deterrent for criminals. And so the guys who handle the key can't be baited to come in just anytime (it has to happen when the caller isn't there anymore). We can't afford the sophisticated security and police that Americans have. ...2

@marzlifestylesari-saristor95602 years agohello hello...sir Tom yes we need to have a patience’s, in very things, great video.👍 1
@
@jmd44492 years agoYes Tom some of us Filipinos understand that kind of frustration because we also experience the same once in a while and mind you, foreigners are even usually in a better position in that situation than us Filipinos. It's the show of higher level of courtesy given to you than us. But definitely anyone who makes a scene will have it worse coming his way. A friend of mine once told me, and I realized and never forget it, he said CASH IS KING. Anywhere at any given time. And it makes sense. You want to avoid anything unpleasant while going around, securely carry sufficient cash. ...1
