@itsjohndell2 years ago I was an Officer in the United States Air Force at RAF Lakenheath during the Falklands War. I agreed with Mrs Thatcher on few things but it was vital to Britain. God Bless and Keep my fellow Servicemen who gave the ultimate sacrifice. And God Bless the Royal Navy. ... 38

@richardbryce32012 years ago I remember I was around 10 years old and on holiday with my parents in Corfu, me and a girl I met canoed to mouse island on the way back the tide turned against us and we were getting swept out to sea, a tender from HMS Glamorgan rescued us, the next day we were given a tour of the ship, and later that evening my parents took some of the crew out for dinner and drinks, I’ll never forgot that day, it would have been around 1973 ish, hope I can find some pics, was very sad to hear the news of the Exocet attack in the Falklands, who knows what may have happened if we weren’t rescued by the ships crew ...
