Community Canyon, as the name implies, is a collaborative theme park built inside of Planet Coaster by a community of people, including Coaster Connection & Coaster Bot (+friend of the channel Evan), DigitalDan & Loakin. Basically, we're all coaster enthusiasts and Planet Coaster players putting a bunch of stuff on a western canyon map. My build is the "suspended suspended" cableway coaster, inspired by Doppelmayr's Vertigo and Arrow suspended coasters. The result: a ridiculous zipline coaster shooting across the landscape held up by just a few bulky support structures. @austinniccum98424 years ago Finally, a planet coaster video. I thought you forgot it existed. 87

@TripleTSingt4 years ago I think Phantasialand does really great with theming and the track doesn't really disturb that theming for me. Black Mambas in particular just fits in so well with all the landscaping and it really looks like a snake in those trenches (also, B&M invert track is sexy af). Klugheim is basically 90% coaster track and 10% actual theming, but it still works for me. Wuzetown hides most of the coasters really well. ... 67

@MrMoose-oo9nx4 years ago Man, today is great. We haven’t had any planet coaster from anybody in months, but today Silv AND masked bandit uploaded planco!😁 47
  • @
@QuintonMurdock4 years ago The supports for the lift hill remind me greatly of bagger 293. I imagine that this could’ve been a park that had some scrap parts from a bucket wheel and used some of them to help build this coaster 14

@RAIDgames214 years ago I mean technically Nemesis at Alton Towers the entire track is the themeing, surrounding the station are these big bones that morph into track pieces as well. So I dont know of this really counts to what you're talking about but it's one coaster i can think that does incorporate the track into the themeing ... 16

@michaelskywalker30894 years ago This is where imagineering begins. Thank you for this marvel of coaster design Silvarret and your attention to detail. The coaster ride seems unique. I get the sensation of soaring like a hawk , wheeling through the sky which can ultimately complement the usual looping and high-g turns of most coaster experiences. ... 2

@TheDanc1nghawk4 years ago "It'll be fine" Silv says while behind him, his Potato(tm) brand PC is burning. 9
  • @
@BrandonTisor4 years ago Suspended coasters usually do switch tracks for their transfers instead of a transfer table. Might have saved you some grief 😉 but looks really cool no matter. I have always enjoyed your PC builds. 16
  • @
@abdeeeeee4 years ago 'keeping the station simple' lmaooo my stations are just wooden blocks and look all the same 3
  • @
@twodollarstwenty4 years ago Vertigo’s one of my favourite coaster stories. So cool seeing an inspired build 1
  • @
@amandaburn90894 years ago Really love your approach to themeing this area; given the swooping cable car dips I could also see this sort of coaster working well in a pirate themed area or perhaps jungle themed. Really well done work and looking forward to what's coming next! :D ... 1
  • @
@haydnchan78804 years ago I missed your planet coaster/parkitect videos so much! 1
  • @
@YourTele-sFabulous4 years ago Gosh, Silv.... Such a treat to see you back creating 'amazingness' in Planetcoaster!! Though I'm really not into the whole world of rollercoaster/themepark fandom, I'm subscribed because I LOVE seeing your fantastical and at the same time (somewhat) realistic creative design proces. In combination with your great voice and consistent telling of the things you're interested in is truly a treat!!!!!❤❤thanks, and hopefully this motivates you extra to design more in Planetcoaster🙈🙊🤗 ...

@20motu083 years ago Hearing your thoughts about a suspended transportation system in steampunk fashion to be immersive... I was BLOWN AWAY by F.L.Y. in Phantasialand two weeks ago. It exceeded all my expectations and I highly recommend a visit! ...
  • @
@twenny62564 years ago Vertigo was one of the more fun coasters in walibi belgium when it worked. I was sad to see it go but it was just a technical error machine. 2

  • @
@redsquirrel7244 years ago Watching you build roller coasters with heavy theming is so tranquil and satisfying, and this theme is so genius!
If this ride could let you add the floorless suspended trains like those on Vampire at Chessington World of Adventure, then they would be perfect for this theme. ...
  • @
@henrymarchant80534 years ago Nemesis at Alton towers does an amazing job at including the track in the theme as it is part of the alien. They even include track in the theme that’s not part of the ride 1

@hehehhehehhehehehe87684 years ago Nice to see you doing planet coaster again 1
  • @
@BarnabyBear694 years ago Great video dude. I'm kinda with you on tracks and themes not matching but I think that the steel has a certain elegance all of its own regardless of theme. Especially with a little added rust!
  • @
@Baneif3 years ago It looks really realistic, great job !
  • @
@ctb33354 years ago I honestly wish someone would recreate this in NL2 so I could walk around it and ride it in vr. And I've probably never said that about a fantasy coaster before. Thanks, Silv, for creating something as beautiful as this. ...

@kyleflounder97833 years ago Man I miss these awesome builds. Hope you can get the opportunity to collab on a park, or even just one ride, soon. I can never get over your knack for building coasters. I've played RCT3 and PlanCo but never made anything that I would scream from the rooftops about. I think you could do that with literally every rollercoaster you complete 😂 ...

@Bethgael4 years ago Oh, nice! Good to see a new PlanCo vid. :D
  • @
@coastersplus4 years ago RMC raptor/T-rex track seems to have a ton of theming potential to me, given it's just a giant metal line of color. It's probably been done plenty in PlanCo but I'd love to see more done with it in real life.
Bobsleds also get theming by default and it's sad they're dying out. Especially since I haven't been on any yet!

@shroom27804 years ago Hey, very good Silvarret! You're a nice builder. I like the Station 👍
  • @
@johnstorer1594 years ago FWIW, I totally thought about the lack of safety nets as well, but figured just like you did that the enclosed style of car should prevent most things from falling out. I think it's totally passable!
  • @
    @guggggggggggggggggg3 years ago Omg woah
    First awesome park
And also I thought you forgot about Planet Coaster XD
  • @
@sheaokeeffe8354 years ago It depends because if the theme of the area was steampunk or futuristic showing the track could help with the theming
  • @
@elivernagus84614 years ago Hollywood studios did a great job with slinky dog dash, the track is supposed a knex roller coaster and it adds to the theme

  • @
@GianniTheodoor4 years ago Vertigo was great. Incredible ride experience, it's a weird thing to feel the track going down with you as you pass it.
But also, good thing it's gone because damn that was ugly.
  • @
@kybo83424 years ago Ive already waited for your part, I missed it in the playlist.

@m.hoffman28894 years ago Doppelmayr is mostly famous for building chair lifts and aerial cable cars in ski areas the alps, they are top quality, some chairlifts even have seat radiators

@nicholasenglish61984 years ago With suspended coasters like this one. They do not have a catwalk on the brake run. Look at Big Bad Wolf from Busch Gardens or The Bat from King’s Island.

  • @
@pigtailsboy4 years ago Has there ever been an attempt at evening out the ratio between queue line and exit path? It seems likely that many waiting for seating could be repeat riders with only high initial quantity being after park opening. I suppose theme park games don't make use of exit platforms as well, limiting those boarding and disembarking to a single space? There must be a way to better pace the numbers of customers waiting to ride. ...

@KristofferEk4 years ago I think Woden coasters in general might be easier to mix in with the theme of an aria.

@scottc41994 years ago I think Disney does a great job with blending the theme with the rollercoaster like Big Thunder and Matterhorn being a toboggan style ride Space Mountain you're in the dark so you can't see the track California Screamin now the incredicoaster is deemed as an old wooden coaster it's rare for a Disney coaster to break immersion IMO ...
  • @
@EVILBUNNY284 years ago On the topic of unthemed track breaking immersion, You reminded me of a really cool YouTuber by the name of JakeC who created an awesome Donkey Kong style "jumping" minecart track. He hid the track of the trains, and placed a fake one beneath it, one that make it look like the minecart is jumping through the air. It's quite hard to explain but as soon as you see it you'll understand. As for other ride's track ruining emersion, what about Symbolica at Efteling, or Disney Land Paris' "Ratatouille: L'Aventure Totalement Toquéde Rémy", basically any type of trackless dark ride? ... 1
