I jump aboard the sailing cargo ship Kwai once again on Tabuaeran to get back to Kiritimati to settle a land agreement with the rest of my Kiribati family to make sure I can continue building my home on Fanning. Great times were had throughout this adventure as I met a fellow traveler from Canada volunteering as carpenter onboard the ship! And in the end I had the opportunity to get lifted out of the ship via crane and net, which I thought was an awesome time.
