A lingering thought that food will be restricted again so "lets eat more in case of any future deprivation". Or at least thats how it felt like for me. The feeling of deprivation was rooted in my subconscious brain since this was my reality for many years I spent in eating disorder. Always feeling deprived and restricted. Like no amount of food is ever gonna be enough. Half a year into my recovery I felt like the hunger had calmed down a lot but was still not yet completely normal. But I felt ready to start practicing my normal hunger cues and go back to intuitive eating. Eating when hungry and stopping when full and listening to my body. But I wanted to come out of the mindset of "Let's eat more just in case" leaving me uncomfortably full and over stuffed. In this video I give you one way I did it.
