Most marine ropes are made of nylon and are dumped into the ocean, where they remain for a very long period because plastic can take hundreds of years to decompose. Marine animals become entangled in these ropes, which end up threatening their lives. Most of the trash in the water comes from the fishing industry because there are no laws preventing fishermen from purposefully discarding their fishing gear overboard. The problem is clear, but no action is being taken towards it. 🦭 - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Please visit our website to find out more about our work and how to support us: ➡ Website: https://www.ocnamibia.org/ ➡ Paypal: donations@ocnamibia.org ➡ FAQs: https://www.ocnamibia.org/faqs Follow us on social media: ➡ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/oceanconservationnamibia/ ➡ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/OCNamibia ➡ TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@ oc_namibia ➡ LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/company/ocnamibia/ ➡ Twitter: https://twitter.com/ocnamibia 😊 Thank you for every like, share, comment and subscribe 😊 🦭 - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Please visit our website to find out more about our work and how to support us: ➡ Website: https://www.ocnamibia.org/ ➡ Donate with Stripe: https://ow.ly/FoZf50PgTgM ➡ Donate with Paypal: donations@paypal.com ➡ FAQs: https://www.ocnamibia.org/faqs Follow us on social media: ➡ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/oceanconservationnamibia/ ➡ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/OCNamibia ➡ TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@ oc_namibia ➡ LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/company/ocnamibia/ ➡ Twitter: https://twitter.com/ocnamibia 😊 Thank you for every like, share, comment and subscribe 😊
