Members of the Holy Faith Secondary Schools Board support the approach adopted by the Principal of Holy Faith Convent, Couva to have students place their items in transparent bags before they enter the school. The Board said the plastic bags allow for easy touchless scrutiny of items and prevents Security Officers or Invigilators from having to conduct physical checks of any bags. In a release on Wednesday, the Board said of the 223 students who attended school on Tuesday to sit examinations, only seven refused to comply with directions from administration, while everyone else placed their personal items in transparent plastic bags. The Board said they agreed with Education Minister's Dr. Nyan Gadsby-Dolly's stance that no cell phones were allowed in the exam rooms as per CXC's policy. The Board also confirmed that all COVID-19 Safety Protocols, including physical distancing, is being observed in the school as this was confirmed by the School Supervisor III who visited the school to ensure all protocols were in place.
